Lieberman-Matchett is a creative marketing and business development executive with over 25 years experience in Fortune class, medium size and start up organizations. She has proven ability to successfully launch and manage new ventures in the Internet, e-learning, telecommunications, cable and multimedia industries.
Prior to re-launching NetGrowth, Inc. Lieberman-Matchett was VP of Marketing for Global Learning Systems and in 1999 helped launch this e-learning start-up. She was part of a team that raised $43 million for this venture. An innovative entrepreneur, she launched NetGrowth, Inc. in 1995 as an Internet web development and e-commerce solutions firm. Previously, she was Group VP of Marketing and Communications for Jones Educations Networks and VP of Marketing for Philips Interactive Media, managing the groundbreaking introduction of the company’s interactive CD-ROM business. At a video direct marketing company, she developed and implemented the video catalog and product licensing strategy for American Express, ESPN and Avon. She was VP of Home Video and Business Development with animation giant, DIC Entertainment and was responsible for launching and managing their video and international sales divisions. A home video pioneer, she developed the first successful home video retail distribution for 20th Century Fox Film Corporation in 1979. She also served in various television development and production capacities with the studio. She started her career in sales and sales management for a supplier of video computer training to Fortune 1000 companies and developed and implemented their national account strategy.
Lieberman-Matchett holds a BA in Communications from Temple University and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She is active in several professional and non-profit organizations and has served as a corporate spokesperson at several major industry events. |
